We do several things as a church which help us practice the way of Jesus and grow together on purpose. Some of these are listed below.
SUNDAY GATHERINGS
Every Sunday gathering consists of four pillars: worship, prayer, teaching and community. Sunday gatherings are a space for you to experience our community in a larger setting and a great first step if you’re exploring faith or searching for a faith community. There are a variety of serving opportunities during Sunday gatherings. If you are interested in serving, you can sign up here.
PRAYER ROOMS
Prayer Rooms are simple, intentional spaces where we gather to seek God together. These gatherings are about slowing down, listening, interceding, and creating room for the Holy Spirit to move. Whether prayer feels natural to you or brand new, you’re welcome here.
Men’s Prayer Room
Meets bi-weekly on Wednesdays
6:30–7:30 AM
Women’s Prayer Room
Meets every other week on Tuesdays 6:30–7:30 PM
Each Prayer Room is designed to be a focused, encouraging environment—no pressure, no performance—just people coming together to pray.
KIDS
We value families. We don’t just think the kids are the church of tomorrow, but we think they are the church of today. Kids join their parents/guardians for the beginning of the service and then are dismissed to be loved on by our amazing Kidznet leaders. During Kidznet, our kids learn about who God is, do fun activities, and of course, enjoy a snack. If you are interested in serving in this area, sign up here.
YOUTH
We love the next-generation. We don’t think students are the future of the church, we think they are the church right now. For the latest information about Spruce Youth, check out our Instagram page. LIFE GROUPS
We believe God created us to live in community with other people. If you don’t have a community, we want to help you find it.
This is what God has called the church to be about: creating environments where authentic community can take place and building transformative communities where people can experience oneness with God and with one another.

Alpha is place to ask questions and explore faith in a fun, low-pressure environment. Each session includes a short film and a discussion where you can share what you think with a small group of people just like you.
Alpha is designed to be a space for people who wouldn’t typically go to church, it’s where you can say anything you want and there is no question that you cannot ask.

SUPPER BOWL
Supperbowl is a weekly ministry in the heart of downtown St. John’s that serves a meal to over 100 people. We support this ministry on the first Saturday of every second month. If you would like to be a part of this ministry, you can let us know here.
